Basically I am looking for any cheaper or free versions of RSLogix 500 that I can actually upload and run the program to a PLC. I have played with the TLP LogixPro simulator in the past but my guess is that is just for simulation purposes.
Which PLC processor are you using? There is a free version of RSLogix 500 that supports the MicroLogix 1000 and 1100 (IIRC), and a relatively cheap version that supports all of the MicroLogix processors (not the 800 series, which is programmed with CCW which is free).
