I was trying to create new module in I/O Configuration and I get the "Fatal Application Error"

Below is my plc setup if I need to try to connect and do auto configure

This is while not connected to the plc. Any idea what I'm doing wrong. I'm used to rslogix 500.

You've probably gotten past this problem by now, but I have had the same thing happen, and my work around was to export my project to the .L5K (text) format and add the offending module manually into the .L5K file.

You would then save the file and import it into Studio5000 (under a different name to avoid writing over your original).
