The system I'm working with has a gradual degradation of performance throughout the week. When the RSView project is started the workstation processor time runs around 4%. Gradually over the course of a week the processor time reaches 40% and the workstation starts locking up.
Initially Rockwell Software tech support acknowledged a memory problem using the installed version of their ActiveX trend control (TrendX) and suggested installing their patch to fix the problem. I have since installed the patch(upgrade). Although it seems to have helped, it has only increased the interval between restarts and has not eliminated the problem.
Has anyone experienced a similar problem? What did you do to fix it?
