I'm trying to find a way to indicate that RSView SE's datalogging is taking place.
Here's some background:
The datalogging (ODBC) is triggered by an event based on temperature in a reactor. The logging starts as expected when the temp exceeds a setpoint. The problem is that if the HMI is stopped and restarted while the temperature is above that setpoint the event doesn't fire and the datalog doesn't restart. A novice operator won't realize this has happened (and restart the datalog manually), so I want to put an indication on the display to indicate that the datalog is running.
Has anyone found a way to do this?
Thanks,
KW
