Can anyone offer examples using Excel to datalog or pull data from a DH+ PLC5? Currently using RSLinx Pro.

 

Using RSLinx, configure he DDE opic, then use he copy link feature. Paste this link into Excel and the data is there. - A piece of cake!!

I find it easier to pull the data directly from the log files created by rsview. they are std dbase files that excel can open up directly, and you can write some fairly simple macros to grab the data you need.
