We are going to replace some old Siemens S5-95 and S5-115 PLCs with S7-300 ones and the closedown time of the production lines for the switching is very limited. Please advise, where can we buy ready connector adopters and cables to connect the old Siemens S5-95 and S5-115 module wiring to the new S7-300 modules. The idea is to get the possibility of fast switching of the IOs between the old and the new system.

 

First convert the S5 files to an S7 and test your S7 configuration with the converted program. It is possible that you have some errors. If you are a beginner I suggest that you give the first conversion to someone that has done this (a senior PLC programmer). Otherwise you are in some deep deep sh*t.
