I am trying to get ALARM_S messages to display on a TP170B display. I have S7 and PROTOOL integrated and I have selected ALARM_S messages in the system options for the display. When I try to send a message using sfc18 from the PLC I get error number 8085 returned. The S7 help for sfc18 says "No logon for the specified EV_ID".

I'm stumped. The display is plugged in and the ALARM_S box is ticked - what else should I do?

If anyone can help me I would be very grateful.

 

You need to have the correct attributes set. I had trouble with this myself using a Tp27 some 2 years ago. Will reply later when I have found my old notes. The attributes are something like "s7_server" & "alarm_archiv" & I think these are set when using the declaration EV_ID
