I am currently working on a system with a legacy SAMISTAR system. It is comprised of ABB SAMI and MINI Drives. The drives are tied into a SELMA. My problem is that I need to start replacing the drives, with current product. I need to do this on a one or two drive basis. So, is there any kind of protocol converter or possibly a way to tap into the SELMA and pull its data out to a new PLC that will talk to the new drives?
