We are currently upgrading an old Satcon 15 Controller to a Siemens Step 7. The client has no hardware or program documentation. They have several modules Part No. SM110. They call it a break. Does anyone know exactly what this module is.

I believe a part of Alfa Laval was taken over by ABB a couple of years back which SattCon in that folder.

May be ABB will be able to help you. or you could check at their website abb.com/automation

it´s about Profibus-Dp for old Sattcon-plc.
keep all hardware (I/O, cables, drawings) add a dp-slave instead of the cpu.
connect to a new dp-master-plc.
