Wastewater treatment plant using Scada Alarms and Wondereware Intouch when the polymer system runs out it sends an alarm. It sends the alarm but it clears by itself before making the call maybe 3 0r 4 seconds for the entire process. Why is it clearing itself?

 

We have found the pulse it sends to the PLC is not correct. sporadic. we are checking connections and monitoring the situation. It seems the pump is working fine and is pulsing but the PLC is not reading properly every time we are going to check the pulse rate and duration and then check the I/O module itself.
