SCADA communication problem

In one of our projects, we are facing problems in Cimplicity SCADA communication with Versamax PLC. The communication is getting interrupted frequently. The data display will be in black for some time and then regaining. The com settings are protocol SNP over RS422 connection. Baud rate is 9600 odd. Adam converter is using for RS232/422 conversion. What could be the problem? Please help me. Thanks in advance.
