Take a look at Iconics MobileHMI and AlarmWorX+/MMX. it will bring OPC data to your mobile and other places. We have used that with SMAR SYSTEM302

This kind of stuff, and everything else you can do with OPC, is covered in chapter 7 of the book "Software for Automation: Architecture, Integration, and Security". Preview, see contents, and buy online:

Hi,

You may use U.C.ME-OPC to view detailed status on your cell phone. U.C.ME-OPC connects to any OPC server or SCADA/HMI that supports OPC server functionality.

U.C.ME-OPC maintain a WAP application that enables you to view detailed status including graphics and reach text.

You can also check out Route1.com ... a remote thin client that will allow you to see and interact with your SCADA as if you were there... and you don't have to re-invent the app or make any adjustments at all...

Been using it for 6 months... very cool
