I am looking for a digital scale manufacturer. I need to link the scale to the PLC and read the weight.
Can somebody recommend me at least one?

both probably have what you need. I would recommend GSE first.

Hello,

I have used digi scales into a Prosoft/AB module works fine but these scales DI 170 I think they also have a 4-20ma output as well. I have never tried it.

The Metler Toledo has ethernet, I used that to communicate with Opto22 PLC. Just plugged it into the same ethernet switch. The configuration was quite simple, the PLC just issued the Print command and listened to the result.

The Allen Bradley Device Net card was 1747-KFC15 which acted like a remote rack but I doubt you would use that, very old model PLC.
