I have a problem where I have to talk to a power meter from Schlumberger that supports the QDIP protocol.

The meter is a Schlumberger/Sangamo Quantum ST-Q100/200 Series.

Does anyone know about the QDIP protocol? How difficult is it to write a driver for this (in C)? Also, anyone familiar with the meter ? Does it support any other protocols e.g. Modbus ?
