sensor calibration in Mark VIe control system based turbine

You're going to have to be more specific. There are a lot of different types of sensors used with Mark VIe-based systems, and we haven't any idea which one(s) you're referring to or how you think they might be calibrated using the Mark VIe.

The Mark VIe is not as sophisticated as some DCSs, in that it generally doesn't use Profibus or Hart, but it can. For gas turbine control, it's being "phased in", but slowly. Inertia is a difficult thing to overcome in a company that's been around the power generation business since, well, since before dirt, almost. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

And fixing it means changing a lot of drawings and maybe some procedures (though GE isn't big on procedures as we all painfully know), but that, too, seems to be changing.

And, when you say "calibrate" do you mean calibrate is in LVDT feedback, or to verify operation of a device per the Device Summary by simulating pressure or temperature or position, what's commonly referred to as "calibration" but which is really just checking to see the device is still operating as it was previously calibrated?
