Siemens CP5611 to InTouch

We are currently using Intouch7.1 HMI on Windows NT 4.0 in a pentium III 650MHz. Now we are upgrading our PLC with S7 315 2DP CPU from siemens. Also, a CP5611 card on our PC for the I/O server.

Problem is until now we cannot communicate our I/O server with the PLC. So far all the tech notes that I found have only mentioned the CP5611 card communicate with S7 400.

Is it possible to communicate with S7 300 using CP5611 card? If it so, where can I find a copy of the Tech note for CP5611 communicate with S7 300 .
