Hi

We have a Siemens CPU928B along with its communication processor.

The communication processor has an EPROM module of capacity 64KB installed.

The EPROM Module is having model number 6ES5373-1AA61

I have a Siemens Programmer Model PG 740 available.

Can i program the above EPROM module with the PG 740 programmer ??

If yes kindly let me know the procedure else suggest a way out

Any information would be very useful

yes the PG740 can program the EPROM.

But you will also need the comms software.

You do not say what your problem is?

you can program eprom but you should clarify number of cp e.g (if you have cp523 or 524 or 525) you need com525 software and only 64k need adapter for prog please check cp manual

to be able to configure CP you need COMM package, to read/write EPROM module you need a PROM
software. Both types of software are CP specific.

Hi All

Piotr forgot to tell you one other thing , you will need an Eprom eraser To erase the eprom before you can write anything new onto it.
