hi to all...

i want to establish communication between two S7 200 PLCS, I'm not quite sure if it is possible to accomplish this, and HOW.

if any one can show me the cable pins out diagram as well cause as far as i can remember the pin #3 and #2 must be reversed!!! is that correct???

any help would be appreciated.

Dear Sir,
For connecting two S7-200 you need 2 RS485 connectors and a RS485 cable, you can use PROFIBUS connectors and cables. It's a diferent elcetrical protocol, you were taking about RS232.

it is simple , just use siemens PPI protocol.
from the PLC software, it is very easy to setup the network configuration.

the manual shows how to make a cable (section 7)
how to program NETR and NETW and the tables
(Section 9)
