I am currently trying to program a Siemens S7-300 PLC (CPU 315-2DP) with Redundant, for PID control using FB 41. Where I have a Chemical dosing Pump (Proportional Type), where the setpoint will be from Analyzer and Flow meter. the dosing ratio will be PID to the Analyzer, and in the same time it is proportional to the flowmeter. can someone tell me how can I find similar examples/applications or details on how to configure this PID?

I tried to read through the manual on PID control but find it hard to understand the explanation.

Essentially, what are the important inputs and outputs parameters that I should take note?

Any advice on the above would be greatly appreciated.
