Sir, my machine (Siemens gas turbine Model: SGT 700) is indicating an alarm "GAC in operation." as per OEM GAC stands for gas generator acceleration control. I am unable to identify the cause for this alarm to appear.

What about the behavior of pilot/main Gas valve opening, IGV opening, load, shaft speed at the time of alarm? and any other alarm appears at the time of GAC in operation alarm?

Pl. Clarify whether it is an alarm or event?
In PCS7, process alarms come either with red back grond or with yellow back ground based on severity. If the message has come with green background, it could be an event.
When there is a sudden load throw off, momentarily GAC might have come into line and later FLC again taken over. Please check and reply.
