We have a Radiant Heating oven which is controlled by a Siemens ZA724 Controller, with LA724 output cards. Can anyone tell me on what principle this system works? The reason I am asking this, is the following: Each output drives two elements which is connected in parallel, and the total wattage of the two elements together is 2000W. When we set the channel to 100% output in the PLC Program, and I measure the voltage between the output and the Neutral, I get a reading of between 150 and 200VAC. Why do I not get a reading of 230VAC? Also, when I measure the current of the output, I get a reading of about 6A, which is very low? Can anybody explain this to me?
