I need Analog Signal Converter from 4-20mA to 0-50mA. Does anyone can help me to find it? What brand and type? This converter will be used to convert signal from 90-70 PLC to actuate fuel actuator of Solar Centaur Turbine.

Both Wilkerson and API make DIN rail mount signal converters. I've used ones that do 10-50mA output, I assume either can supply converters that do 0-50mA.

Hi Billy.
I used to do this some years ago with an Action Instruments device but if you want a better permanent solution Solar used to offer a 4-20mA version of the Phoenix actuator which was also used for the IGV positioning on Solonox low emmission engines.

I have a little circuit here that converts a 4-20mA signal into 0-50mA. Will this converter be on the far end of the loop? near the actuator? can you power it from that point?

Most of current converters only available convert up to 20mA. I don't know why Solar making 50mA Actuator. Any body can help?????
