I'm looking for tutorials and simulators of SIEMENS SIMATIC S5,.and STEP
5. Could someone inform me where can I find such software.

An S5 programming package called S5 for Windows is available which has a
built in simulator/emulator. As with most PLC emulators it does not perform
100% of the operation (integrated function blocks are not included) but is
still very useful. The emulator can be connected to via DDE which enables
you to test SCADA apps.

An evaluation version is available, I have a copy but it runs to about 5Mb.

Hi,

I'd recomend going to http://www.ibhsoftec.de/english/ the IBHSOFTEC web
site.

On here you will find a free demo download for their S5 for windows
software.

Part of this software includes a "Soft PLC" that you can use to test
out S5 programs and see virtual I/O cards change states etc.

The download is restricted to how many blocks you can write but if you
buy the whole package then you will get unrestricted access.
I've used it with a measure of success and reckon it's worth a try.
