I try to establish communication between an Allen Bradley SLC5/05 and a micrologix1200 thru a NetEni interface. The function MSG in the SLC gets never done, instead it falls in error. (A reply was not received before the user specified time out). My timeout is 23. I even did a powerdone on my SLC without good results.

In the NetEni there is no routine message, I tought it might be a problem but I have a Panelview1000 that is communicating with the MicroLogix thru that NetEni. Is there somebody who can help me?

 

Very strange - make sure you use the "Multi-HOP" in the MSG block & check out RA's excellent Knowledgebase articles on the ENI.

But it's odd to get a timeout at 23 seconds; other errors are more common.
