Hi All

I have a Unitronics vision PLC which I am using to send text messages to operators via a Siemens TC35 gsm modem. The PLC supports this function and it works fine except when sending an e-mail, the character "@" becomes the character "~". This is also true for almost every second alternate character on the keyboards numbers.

I have tried looking at the data from the PLC to the modem with hyperterminal, but found that the data is some form of binary and not ledgeable (by me at least).

Any suggestions welcome.

Cheers

Dear

the binary strem you see is the PDU mode of the communication with the modem. there is a text mode which is ASCII and PDU which is binary Just so you'll know
