Please, suggest the efficiency of acoustic soot blower system in a LJUNGSTROM ROTARY AIR HEATERS. Anybody tried this in your plant? Otherwise point out a better solution for soot blowing system in the particular application.

We have installations at many places in India, all kinds of units, 500MW, 210MW, 200MW, 140MW, 62.5 MW, 120MW in Rotary Air pre heaters. The installation is done from the flue gas side top end. The results found are very satisfactory. As sonic soot blowing is continuous online cleaning, the heating efficiency was constant (we have taken the readings on graph) compared to the steam soot blowing which is periodic.
