Depending on the processor Allen Bradley has Ethernet side cards for the PLC
5, PLC5 processors with Ethernet built in or for the control logix they have
Ethernet communications modules etc. So you have lots of choices.

a little more verbose, i am using a jkmicro (www.jkmicro.com) flashTCP single board computer. it has dos,tcp/ip stack and 10baseT onboard. i'm looking for a driver package to link in with my borland turbo c for dos v4.51 to allow this sbc to speak to RSView.
thanks,
