There is a given system described by differential equations. This is represented in state space form. Now, consider we have the state equation as xdot = ax + bu and the output equation as y = cx. How is the physics of the system reflected on the matrix c? How is c extracted from application point of view. Consider the system to be a cantilever beam under vibrations, for example.
