Through this, I want to announce the V International Symposium on Automation (October 21-24, 2003) organized by TECSUP in Lima, Peru.
We expect the participation of distinguished local and international conferencists, as it was in the previous one in 2001, when we had the presence of Dick Morley, a worldwide recognized investigator and entrepreneur.
We encourage professionals dealing with Industrial Measurement and Control areas to submit an abstract of a technical paper in order to participate in our Symposium.
The abstract (500 words max.) should include enough details for its review and selection by our Technical Committee. Format instructions for final presentation will be sent upon the acceptation of the paper and via e-mail. Papers must be non-commercial.
The topics for papers should fall in the following categories:
New developments in sensors and instrumentation Automatic control applications and solutions PC-based supervision and control systems Communication networks and industrial buses Artificial intelligence applied to industrial process control Plant safety considerations and protection systems

Submission of abstracts: June 27th, 2003 Confirmation of the accepted papers: July 25th Submission of final papers: September 26th
Presentations are limited to one hour and should be in Spanish or English. Simultaneous translation to Spanish will be provided.
