Syntax: Linking Array Points to MS Excel or MS Access

I have the following array:
ARRAY_AB_1001_THRU_1500[463]

Tried this in a cell:
=CWSERV|POINT!\\CLINTON1\ARRAY_AB_1001_THRU_1500[463]

The syntax is not correct (I get a formula error in excel). Can someone help?
