The manuals for the Modicon Micro (part numbers begin with 110CPU) are available on www.modicon.com. You will also want to pick up the Modicon Ladder Logic Block Library.

If the links don't work (copied and pasted) go to www.modicon.com and search for the manual part numbers. They are all large files (over 10 MB each!) so hope you have a fast connection.

You have asked for information on two different families of processors.

First, there is the old Modicon Micro, catalog numbers look like 110CPUxxxxx. These are typically used only in existing applications.

Second, there is the new TSX Micro, catalog numbers look like TSX37xxxxx.

I will guess that you are looking for the TSX Micro. The programming software familiy for the TSX Micro is PL7. The PL7-Micro version is the least cost as it works only with the Micro controller. You can download trial/demo versions of PL7 control software from http://www.modicon.com.

I´m a beginner too, but maybe you could help me. I´m working with a Modicon TSX 07 PLC (connected to a Magelis terminal) and I still can´t connect it to my laptop. I´ve tried with a RS232 cable (with PS2 and serial adaptors) but it didn´t work, maybe the pin connection is wrong.

I´m looking forward to hear from you soon.

Thxs.
