We are currently using Coriolis Density Transmitter to measure PTA Slurry Density. Our density range is 900 to 1075 kg/m3.
We are looking forward for more authentic & less maintenance options of density measurement.
We previously used Radioactive Density Transmitter but the accuracy was not good. The Coriolis meter is good in accuracy, but it self induces an error in its reading after sometime, plus we have seen failure of these type of transmitters upon process upsets such as vaporized stream or high density slurry flowing through the density transmitter.
Please guide if there is some new more competent technology is available to measure PTA Slurry Density.
