Our problem that we face is on the fire alarm system. we found that it is always giving a in trouble signal on the control panel that heat detectors input device respond too low.

Any advise from us guys because we suspect on one of the heat detectors is busted but we dont know what test we used to know that it is ok/bad. But if there's any solution that more precise to what we know i'm greatly please to apply for the solution of our problem..

You can use temperature calibrator to test the fire detector. we usually use jofra itc-650 to test the fire detector. just "heat" the fire detector using temp. calibrator (according to temp setting) and check the contact whether it's close or open.

 

You can also test Fenwal fire detectors with out removing them by using an HST Heat Detector Tester www.skinnerinnovations.com

This tool will tell you if the detector is damaged.
