I am looking for a good thermal imaging tool. The primary purpose would be to scan control panels, connections, etc. for a variety of our customers on say a semi-annual basis to spot the "hot-spots", etc. to become more pro-active and predictive in our maintenance approach. (we are currently in the conveyor and material handling installation and maintenance business). I feel it would provise a good value added service for our customers.
Has anyone had any experience with any of the brands, and if so, advise on the pros and cons of the various brands, and give an app. US$ figure for the instrument. First cost IS an issue, we want to pay no more than is necessary, and yet have a good functional and reliable tool. Any input would be appreciated...thanks in advance.
