Thermal Efficiency in Microturbines

Hello,
I am designing a Microturbine, and have some concerns.
In the design, the Thermal Efficiency goes up when the Turbine Entry Temperature goes down.
Can anyone help.

Is this not expected behaviour, based on how a large GT works?

It is a thermal cycle, if exit temp remains the same and inlet temp drops, difference of the inlet and outlet temp increases, and more energy is available from the cycle.

On some large GTs inlet cooling and/or avoidance of warming is a thing, eg don't have your inlet sucking past your main transformer for a GTG, a point that seems missed at times.
