Thermal flow meter is now reading negative temperature when suppose to read 64oF (Thermal flow worked for about 25days giving the correct reading). Also, it is now reading a very low flow. Please what could be the cause and corrective action?

You need to ask the thermal dispersion flow meter's manufacturer what the implication of a formerly properly operating flow meter now reading a clearly false negative process temperature is.

But I'll venture a guess that the design calls for a failed temperature sensor circuit to go to a 'failsafe' mode that produces a negative temperature reading, which hopes to get your attention, which it clearly has done.

I did some quick research of the 10 or so Flow meters that I know I have customers interfacing with and all of them use negative values to indicate issues with the sensors. The issue could indicate a bad sensor or a compromised signal from the sensor the flow meter.

May you give us the brand and the exact model of this flowmeter?

Other way, just we are speculating about the fail cause.
Please give the alarm code (of course, if you have one local display).
