I am currently in the process of purchasing a infra-red camera, it's primary use would be for analysis of electrical distribution and control boards. I have been approached by differant suppliers of thermal imaging camera's and i am confused which would be my best option, and i am eager to make the right decision as they are expensive. I am only looking at a entry level camera at this time and i am torn between the testo-V1 and the irisys-iri4010. Can anyone make any reccomendations or give me some impartial advice please.

Thanks in advance

I have seen the live demonstration of testo. It has very good features and base model will solve your purpose. Moreover,as you said, your application is common so i feel both will work fine and will give good results. Also, for making a decision to select, just call there sales personals for live demonstration and just select the economical one.
