I am currently working on a retrofit/up-gradation project. The problem we are facing now is that the Thermocouples, K Type, are short of length to reach the Terminal Block in the Control Panel. What method can be used to extend the length of the cable so that the cable reaches the TB without degrading the signal. The extension required is around 1 meter.

Can you refer to me such connectors. I have searched with vendors, what I find is the plug type connector. I need to know how to make the joint on termocouple cable ends with the extension wire?

There are lots of different field attachable connectors that you could attach to the end of the TC cable and use a section of TC extension cable to make it longer.
