I have a TI 530C processor, and use FasTrack 505 Work Shop and a serial cable (AB1784-CP10) to program and monitor.

I would like to build an application in wonderware and need an I/O server to communicate with the processor. I have TIWAY but you need a $1300 Unilink Host Adapter (what ever that is) for it to work.

Seems like there ought to be a cheaper way to go, this is kind of a pet project of mine, not ready to spend a bunch of $ on it yet.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

You can use SIMATIC TI Direct from Wonderware, and if you already own Intouch, I believe this driver is free for your use. It is a serial driver, so all you need is a null modem cable (same as your programming cable).
