Hi all,
I have Siemens CPU 315-2 and I have used all the available timer (128). Now I need to make some additional programs. Is it possible increasing the avaiable timer (perhaps by changing the memory card to higher quantity) or I have to change the whole CPU with a higher series to have some addition timers? Thank you in advance for the answer.

But the CPU 315-2DP has 256 timers see technical data in

and the other option you can have is IEC timers via SFB they have the least count of 1 ms.

Thanks before for the answer. I have checked that CPU 315-2DP with 256 timers is the one with order number 6ES7315-6TG10-0AB0 (128 kb) also named CPU 315T-2DP, while the one I am using is 6ES7315-2AF03-0AB0 (64 KB).

Please correct me if I am wrong. Anyway thank you for the suggestion to use IEC timers.

older versions of CPU315-2DP have 128 of S7 timers.
