TISOFT over Ethernet

I have been using TISOFT to program various TI PLCs since the late 1980s. It would be very useful to be able to program these PLCs over Ethernet using a notebook running Windows 2000. Can anyone explain how to set up TISOFT to program over Ethernet?

Note: Under our current site standards we use TISOFT v6.3.1 (or thereabouts), all our backups use this standard and we are not considering changing to Softshop or other Windows based alternatives.

You will not be able to program in Tisoft over Ethernet using Windows 2000. In older days running Windows 95, Windows for Workgroups there was an TCP/IP software called OnNet Kernel from FTP Software. Running this package you would be able to use Tisoft 7.1 over Ethernet - but all this is history (just like us).

Either you can switch to 505 Workshop (very expensive) or you can do a cheap investment in some Moxa devices (Serial -> Ethernet converter).
Use the Nport Administrator from Moxa, and then just map your PLCs onto some IP-address on you network. We are using this setup on some of our clients.
