Friend shifter meters work on the principle of Archimedes. the displacer weight varies according to how much you are immersed in this lÃquido (Liquid?)

Therefore necessary to measure the variation of weight of the displacer submerged and out of the fluid. this is done with a tube torque.

The torque tube electronics transmits the weight variable displacer.

Por lo tanto hace falta medir la variación de peso del desplazador sumergido y fuera del líquido, esto se hace con un Tubo de torque.-
El tubo de torque transmite a la electrónica el peso variable del desplazador.-

The torque tube does two things:
Acts as the spring to balance the displacer.

Acts as the seal between the vessel and atmosphere. this is it's most important task. The vessel can be several hundred PSI as inn an oil refinery.

If you didn't use a torque tube, you would need to run a shaft through a seal. that would have friction. the torque tube is frictionless.
