i am working in colour coating line so we have to monitor the strips continuously from entry, process and exit section for proper operation. As these line is continuous, we used to track the new coil from it joint point. In HMI we see the movement of strips, I want to know the automation part that how it is happening we use hole detector, encoder, s7-400 seimens plc and total distance of line from entry to exit.
