Can anyone let me know what data or parameters can be gotten from Trane BCU on the Bacnet and LON? Also on Comm5 (i.e. without using the BCU). I would appreciate if I can get the register address for each parameter in both the cases.

 

The points you can get from a BCU depends on what they have put in! A BCU from the shelf is blank.

For the lontalk list, it depends on which chiller, rooftop or other device the LCI (Lontalk Communication Interface) is in.

On the Trane site you can download the XIF and NXE files for each of the devices which can hold a LCI. You can open this with i.e. wordpad.
The list is very long, but for anyone not using Trane software can only see the mandatory and open parts, not the ones that are manufacturer defined.
