Transformer open circuit voltage with delta secondary

Hi,

Once more i am restarting my old thread where i asked about unbalance voltage in open ckt voltage of transformer with secondary delta. I got lot of information from you guys.About system capacitive reactance and all.

In our application , the whold current carrying part on secondary side, right from transformer secondary terminals, busbar and cables are water cooled. If i megger the system with water running i find the megger value zero. still system runs.

and open ckt voltages are also balanced.
Why ?

Responding to Panthripu's 13-May-10 (06:44) query... have you searched the Control.Com archives for 'EAF' or 'Electric Arc Furnace'?

Look for the thread covering Megger readings, and especially the one covering insulator tests!

If you still don't understand, then provide detail (measurements, xfmr parameters, etc) regarding your problem!
