Can anyone tell what should be safe distance from the gas vent tower to the 220 KV transmission line? in my plant Transmission line is hardly 2m away from natural gas vent tower. Please tell me whether NFPA covers this issue? If there is any other international standards, please give me details.

The installation standard for Australia and New Zealand AS/NZS 60079.14 (modified from IEC 60079.14) does not allow transmission lines above any hazardous area zones unless care is taken to prevent incendive particles from the line falling into the zone.

As I understand your inquiry, the transmission line actually passes through the zone - this is definitely not permitted even under the unmodified IEC requirements.
