I'm trying to establish communication between a Twido 40 I/O with embedded ethernet and Advantys OTB Remote ethernet I/O. I have used the comm macro to implement this and have found it to be quite simple. I have encountered a problem though. I can only read my inputs and not send my outputs if I have the two read and write functions in the same routine. If I seperate out the read and write on to seperate scans then both the inputs are written and outputs are set.

I am pretty sure it should work in the same ladder as I have seen working programs with exactly the same program structure and hardware as I cannot get to work.

Can anyone please comment on why this may be does firmware affect it I'm on V4.02, if you could send an example it would be very much appreciated.

could you please help me? i'm working on exactly the same. A PLC TWDLCAE40DRF connected to an island of I/O trough the OTB1E0DM9LP.
I can read the input using the macro COMM but i haven't been able to write on the outputs, even though it must be quite similar, i appreciate if you could help me with an example or something like That.
