Hi there.

I'm just starting out with PLC's but was wondering where i could get instruction to upload the code from a Allen Bradley PLC to a PC using Studio 5000. Needing to create a backup of the code that's currently on a PLC and have no clue how.

call local AB distributor

issue p.o. for rslogix 5000

load rslogix 5000 on pc

load software license on pc

connect pc to plc

upload plc program unless it is protected in some way; in which case you should scream at whoever allowed this.
