I want to download/debug an application for Magelis XBT-F011110 operator panel and my handheld computer (DELL Inspiron) does not have COM ports, only USB.

There is everyone how knows where I can find an USB-RS232 cable wich work well with Unitelway and ModBus protocols?

I've asked Schneider Electric Technical Support and I've got no answere.

You need a USB > serial port convertor. Try one from BELKIN. See <www.belkin.com> for details.

For Modbus any USB / RS232 adaptor from any vendor should work. We have tested many differents here in Schneider Brazil and all of them works fine.

For Unitelway Schneider has a ready to use cable for USB connection. The part number is TSXPCX3030.

I really think very strange that nobody from Schneider Electric technical support told you that....
