Using SN75116 in RS-485 communication

I want to know information about application of SN75116. TI take it as General Purpose (non-standard) Data Transmission (Line) Circuits, then I want to know if its electrical characteristics are compatible to RS485 or RS422, that means if I can take SN75116 as RS485 or RS422 interface to use. And I also want to know how to calculate its loading capability. Our project need to hang 100 device(its communication interface is made up of
Sn75116) into RS485 mutipoint net, so I want to know if SN75116 can realize it and if I need a converter?
